      Aren’t “conservatives” supposed to be keeping a watchful eye over taxpayer dollars?

        “Heavy lifting” means something is doing a lot of work. In this case, the quotation marks make the sentence truthful only because the court did refer to the witness as an expert.

        For example, the quotes in Einstein remembered as “genius” aren’t doing much - the sentence would stand without quotes as generally accepted fact. In contrast, the quotes in Trump called “stable genius” are doing a lot of work, because most people wouldn’t agree with the statement.

      It is a mental illness to say you’re an expert on something without actually being an expert on it

        I mean, not really…
        Nor is being trans, which I assume what original person meant, but either way, nothing wrong with having mental illness, just like any other illness, so lets stop using it as a put down.
