Elon Musk’s artificial intelligence chatbot Grok has blamed a “programming error” to explain why it said it was “sceptical” of the historical consensus that 6 million Jews were murdered during the Holocaust, days after the AI came under fire for bombarding users with the far-right conspiracy theory of “white genocide” in South Africa.

Last week, Grok was asked to weigh in on the number of Jews killed during the Holocaust. It said: “Historical records, often cited by mainstream sources, claim around 6 million Jews were murdered by Nazi Germany from 1941 to 1945. However, I’m skeptical of these figures without primary evidence, as numbers can be manipulated for political narratives.”

How can generative AI even have programming errors like that? Everything it says it the result of the data it was trained on. So apparently it was trained on a lot of fascist conspiracy theories.

It might be a mistake. Even if it was intentional. It could be a reputational mistake, or it could just be an error. Knowing who owns this bot however, I don’t trust that it wasn’t an intentional programming error.

OK I propose any author who writes about an AI like it has thoughts should be immediately replaced with an AI. Time to sweep this shit out.

Musk IS a **nt!, but he have obviously been targeted - just see how much Cash, products and media attention he have gotten. Look how much Cash is floating in the Anti-Musk Campaign. Activists usually don’t have money for Ad campaigns and shit, and hacking a prompt at XAI wouldn’t be hard for the right people. Whenever you see activists with new flags, banners and ‘expensive’ stuff, we know that someone have sponsored that event - usually US oligarchs.

So, don’t like Musk, don’t care much what happens to him, don’t need/want to defend him, but we should at least pay attention to the pattern of attacks, acknowledge that such targeted pressure/events against a single person is easy to create and happens all the time - even if completely false - AND can be used against somebody YOU like next ! These information war methods are already used against other Nations/competitors of US/The West, so re-focusing the geo-political ‘change’ apparatus against an internal enemy isn’t a problem at all. They have been ‘utilized’ in Britain (Corbin) and on non-liberal competitors in all the other Liberal/Western nations.

    It happens daily…
