I don’t have better proof. For me it was enough because I also read the comments and there don’t seem to be many success stories.

Could be. What I wanted to say is that the sample size is bigger than two if the community cannot come up with successful bootstrapping stories.

              Could be a skill issue.

Also, a lot of chronically poor people have a belief that it’s fundamentally immoral to make a lot of money. It’s not. It really comes down to how you go about it, and what you decide to do with it once you have it.

Mostly true. It’s just very difficult to make a lot of money in a fully moral way so a lot of people are not entirely wrong.

Why would you want a LOT of money when all you really need is enough to not have to worry about putting food on the table or how to pay your bills this month?

IMHO it’s much more important to find some sort of occupation that not only makes money, but that you actually enjoy doing long term, otherwise you’re just going to get burnt out. And I can tell you from my own experience that no amount of money is worth that.

Also, it doesn’t matter WHAT you do, there’s always going to be someone criticizing or hating on you, no matter how good you are. In fact, the better you are, the more hate you’ll get. But that doesn’t make it immoral.
