As a rule of thumb; If Jack wouldn’t use those words, neither should you. This is not permission to go crazy, mild NSFW content like dick jokes and Jack quotes will be allowed but any posts sexualizing a group or a user will be deleted. Graphic content will include: Heavy gore Mentions of self-harm Extremely violent posts Drama posts Pornographic content Keep in mind that posts will still be deleted at mods discretion and may lead to a ban by violations this rule. _______________________________________ Rule 4: No reposts Absolutely no reposting. This counts for memes, art, videos, images, twitter screencaps, etc. Different text style or a slightly different screenshot is still considered a repost. Additionally, spam posts, or posts that are put up multiple times over a long period, will not be allowed on the subreddit and will immediately be deleted, this may result in a ban if continued to upload them. Stolen/Screenshotted posts will be removed. Please upload your own original memes/art. ______________________________________ Rule 5: No Slurs or Hateful Content Slurs of any kind are not acceptable. Any use of slurs will result in an immediate ban. Be respectful to other users and creators, no hate speech, threats or discrimination against users or groups.       Really just monitor the community, ban troublemakers, remove inflammatory comments, etc.

      I’ll still be around, so it wouldn’t be super stressful.

      Lemmy does have mod tools, but it depends on the app, on whether or not they’re available.

      Idk which one that you are using, but, for me, on Summit, if I click on the three dots on a post/comment, there will be an option titled “Mod Tools” whic lets me Ban, remove comment/post, pin post, etc.

        I didn’t see alot of controvertial posts when I discovered this community so it looks casual for moderation and I think I’d be O. K. with that.

        Just one question, are you O. K. if I’m unavailable during my vacation usually I’m two (to 3) weeks absent yearly?

        I mostly use lemmy.world’s web interface and remider of my interaction come through Voyager.
