I may not have enough context on this guy and how he stands on stuff but, I usually read “per” as in “stated by” which would mean he is relaying that bit from Walz. And wouldn’t make me worried this guy is backing the violence.

If if meant it as in Walz coordinated/hired the hit or something, then that is unhinged.
