Half a battered sausage, half cod (both shared with the other half) and chips covered in salt and their homemade onion vinegar

Haddock and chips (large) dripping with vinegar, mushy peas, and a can of cream soda.

I live in Canada now, and what they call fish and chips is fish and French fries. I really want a huge heap of proper chips 😮‍💨.

    In my fatter youth:

Large cod, large chips, side of beans.

    I’m my healthier mid life:

Medium cod, large chips, curry sauce / gravy

What conversation do you believe you’re in? This is for UK chat about fish and chip shops.

And the answer to the question should have nothing whatsoever to do with a “fish guy” (FFS), but rather is a chip butty or chips and mushy peas

I get a kid’s fish dinner from our local. It’s massive for a kids portion and only 4 quid.

Or, two battered sausages, chips, onion rings, gravy.
