Hey y’all I watched this video a while ago and it got me wondering about any other interesting Christian relics let me know of any you find interesting
Yes! My grandmother-in-law is 97 years old!
😂
anthropologist Eric Silverman writes, "A common test for foreskinned authenticity [in medieval times] was taste. A physician, supervised by a priest, sampled the skin for the flavor of genuine holiness.
🤮
If I remember correctly there are many places which claim to have the real one. Oh so many…
Eeww. This is just weird, imo.
Now this is that alabaster-box which Mary the sinner procured, and poured forth the ointment out of it upon the head and feet of our Lord Jesus Christ, and wiped it off with the hairs of her head.
Can you imagine, here’s a baby born in Bethlehem and when he’s 8 days old an old lady takes him into a cave and snips the tip of his penis off, then decides to place it in an alabaster box and fill the box with oil, then she gives that box to her son and tells him not to sell it. Then, 30 years later Jesus meets a prostitute in Galilee and she has this box with his foreskin in it, then the uses the foreskin infused oil to wash his feet.
Makes me wonder what my foreskin has been up to.
Neither Mary of Bethany nor Mary of Magdala are described as prostitutes.
It depends on your source. My source said that ‘Mary the sinner’ was a prostitute, and Mary Magdalene was Mary the sinner.
My source was my preacher in the 90s.
I was taught that as a youth, too.
Ark of the covenant. It’s radioactive tho.
