    Maybe advertising it better would help? I’ve literally never heard of this festival and I live close enough to attend.

      Well, It’s free to attend, so there’s no ticket revenue. Also advertising costs money, so that would most likely be counterproductive.

      I also wasn’t aware of it, but the article says it attracts 400,000 people each year, so it’s not exactly a secret. They probably need a big corporate sponsor, though it would be great if the government grants would come back.
