Likewise, fighting the exploitation of animals and veganism are not the same thing, and the question of whether the latter is useful for the former is also necessary to debate.
“Is not killing their babies really necessary to stop exploitation 🤔”
🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
carnists really are something
edit: would reeaallly love to hear the downvoters reasoning, like how do you square animal liberation and the slaughter necessary for sustained egg and milk production?
Sorry, no I think it’s a reasonable article. At the very least I thought it was an interesting take as a non-vegan. My point was veganism is not a prequisite for an anarchist – this was written by one of the more profilic anarchist writers active today.
Also, isnt this sentence a textbook strawman by you yourself? You’re literally making up a quote. Lol
So much strawmaning! “There’s no such thing as vegan ideology so I get to define veganism as is convenient for me.” Gimme a break.
Edit: phrasing. Also, if you only read that far, you barely even made it past the introduction.
I’m sure many are vegan but I actually read this recently
https://theanarchistlibrary.org/library/peter-gelderloos-veganism-why-not
That text is very confusing. Many sentences contradict the previous one, and contains multiple ideas that are opposite to anarchism.
