I’m sorry if I just can’t find it but I can’t seem to… I’ve taken a bit of time to subscribe to a bunch of communities hoping to curate a decent feed but now I’m trying to look at it I’m finding that such a thing doesn’t exist on this app?

In my opinion this is not very intuitive. A drop down in the settings menu would be more obvious to users.
It’s called “frontpage” in the laft-hand drawer.
Look for front page, if you don’t see it, try logging out and then back in… There was some confusion about this issue recently due to sessions being invalid
One thing I’ve noticed is that your subscribed communities may not show up in the Subscriptions section of the left hand drawer until you restart the app, but as mentined above, the posts should appear in the ‘frontpage’ feed.
The latest beta update (1.0.82) has dramatically improved listing of subscribed communities.
I think I’ve been looking for the same thing. I see Front page, local, and all the individual subscribed communities I have subscribed to, but how do I see a “frontpage” of just all my subscriptions? After all, those are the one’s I’m really interested in.
So I guess the frontpage is what you’ve subscribed to?
No, not sure you can subscribe to a community called Frontpage? It shows as a default feed though. The only other options seems to be individual communities, but I have about 15 and the idea is to see all of those subscribed ones by activity, hot, etc across them. It’s too many to go in and out of individually every time I open the app.
Idk what client you’re using, I’m using connect. But I was told that if you hit the 3 lines on the top left and select front page it should be exactly that?
I don’t really like the way it’s organized though. And I wasn’t subscribed to enough communities when I posted this to actually populate it adequately… It might be better now that I’ve got the “hide read posts” and “scrolling past posts marks as read” options on. But I’ve still been looking at all and trying to find communities when I think of them
I’m using the Connect for Lemmy client. OK are you saying in fact that the Frontpage view is then my subscribed communities only? If so, that is perfect (but maybe users just need to know it is their subscribed communities). Most of the sites as well as clients have an option to select Subscribed, so without seeing that I was confused.
Yeah that’s what got me too. After coming from Reddit I associated it with all or something. Definitely could have been clearer.
