@perchance@lemmy.world

You left discord for one reason or another, but the users stayed. Please appoint a few more mods, a single accidental one (@VioneT@lemmy.world) just isn’t enough when there are more people online than this lemmy has users in half a year … People ask for and receive help there and I’d hate to see it become the same cesspool the generator comment & chat section already is.

      are there specific respectable longterm users of the official gens that come to mind?

      I never use them so Im not familiar with the choices. Perchance may not dwell in the chats enough to single anyone out as mod material (and aligned with Perchances vision) either.

        I’d say actually it’s a bad idea (not wrong idea but it’s a headache), at least it’s pretty much harder to find one suitable person. But if we need moderation then clearly Perchance itself should benefits more than discord, which the later should be the sidekick assisting and serving the main sites. Plus discord is in chaos but still under control although I didn’t check every channels.

          It’s all about priority, why Lemmy and discord and reddit have mod and people cares about them but the Perchance itself is the second class platform there?

            The tools to assist the primary tool looks so nice and appealing that it’s like paying for premium skin on a wood stick in Counter-Strike

    And I reviewed the Reddit posted about migration to Lemmy and the Hub is supposed to be the ultimate home maybe 2 years ago. Instead, hub live counts dropped less than one year ago and become more functionless. Meanwhile, we still have this navigation bar which split the community itself apart officially like cakes.

      Not ready too leak this into a post, but here’s a peak at my base. I rebuilt the entire channel, and category layout. While adding a few things for coding, and tandem use’s of LLM leveraging. In my notes breaking down prompting formal practices, and study/sub studies, have to still go over these during the next week or two. Also, I noticed that prior I may have had great organizing of things, but too much clutter, and reliance on sheer sorting vs common Intuitive wording was ehh at best… A massive tax on navigation at worst. Some screen shot’s of how it’s coming along.

    Hiya Lamatiel… I can be found at my base… While moving around a bit. Looking into more formal collaborations of coding and building on things. Things of which i could find little focus on the disc for, but that’s expected too some extent. The larger base of users there may not be as capable as those on lemmy world, but perchance will sure find a lot of new users “not exactly sure of allat atm”, but indeed more new unfamiliar users. Typically looking for basic help & fast tracked query with out waiting or scheduling an actual project persay, and just learning what perchance even is in some cases. See you around… 👋
