I guess I don’t appreciate the tress we have enough. It feels like there’s not enough trees in this city, and afaik it’s the only ‘city in a park’ so to speak. Where are you from and does it not have tree on the street?
I live in Japan. They are brutal with trees here. After a certain height chop chop. Trees are only in the wealthiest parts of the city because of the upkeep laws. In the hood it’s all concrete
Right. I didn’t know the whole concrete thing was still a thing over there. I remember learning about it by watching Pom Poko. At least that’s where I think I found out about it.
