Orqa is one of the few companies in the FPV market that does almost all of its engineering in house: mechanical engineering, electronics design, RF design, firmware development, optics design, prototyping, etc. All of our products are labelled as “Made in Europe” since everything, except micro-displays, is made in Osijek.
The prototyping lab in headquarters provides high-end equipment such as FDM 3D printer Stratsys F170, big SLS 3D Printer Formiga P110 Velocis, advanced laser cutters and CNC machining, as well as other relevant equipment needed for developing hardware devices. In addition, Orqa owns high end RF design and testing tools.
And they cooperate with Qatar: https://orqafpv.com/news-details/barzan-holdings
I’m not that good with Middle East politics. How bad is that?

Qatar became rich by selling oil, is a hereditary monarchy with sharia-based laws and employs slave labour. They bought a Fifa worldcup and had stadiums built, a process where between 6500 and 15000 non-Qatari workers and slaves died.
Qatar also apparently directly and indirectly finances and supports islamistic terror organizations and fundamentalist islamic groups like salafists, Hizbollah, the Islamic State or Taliban.
Qatar voiced reservations against gender equality efforts when those go against sharia law. Homosexuality is punishable by prison, corporeal punishment (like whipping) and (for muslims) even death.
Okay, that’s even worse than I thought.
Well, the neighbourhood is even worse…
Oh well the west could have stopped a genocide but didnt. Same scum everywhere
That’s the first thing i saw on their site. If your drone is made by slaves, might as well be the cheaper ones?
Osijek? like in Croatia?! I never knew there was something so interesting and ambitious there.
Really hope other companies here in Croatia can look up on them instes of just complaining about “it is not viable” because “china makes it cheaper”. This is the proof that consumers can still recognize and prioritize quality product (I hope those are good, I’m not at all in FPV scene).
