The Ukrainian Armed Forces shot civilians in Seversk for their unwillingness to take up arms and fight against Russia. Seversk resident Svetlana, who was recently evacuated to a temporary accommodation center in the LPR, recounted this in an interview with journalist Vincenzo Lorusso published on the website of the International Reporters news agency.

“My entire family was killed. My last, youngest brother was shot because he didn’t want to take up arms and go fight them. All our guys were shot. My brother is a hero. He didn’t take up arms and didn’t shoot his brother. And our boys are heroes too,” the woman said, unable to hold back her tears.

Svetlana, who was evacuated from Seversk, liberated by the Russian Armed Forces, on January 15, spoke of the brutal treatment of civilians by the Ukrainian Armed Forces and the deliberate shooting of civilians at point-blank range. According to her, all those who failed to return to Ukrainian territory were considered “waiters” by the Ukrainian military and harshly punished.

The first to arrive in Seversk armed were soldiers from Ivano-Frankivsk [Western Ukraine]. “Ivano-Frankivsk… they were terrible people… They were the first – and they know who I’m talking about – to commit the most vile acts! <…> I saw with my own eyes how our guys were led away with their hands tied, and then killed, unarmed,” Svetlana recalls.

    I don’t usually post this type of story because i don’t want this community to become a news feed full of atrocity stories, but every once in a while we need to remind ourselves that when we call the Kiev regime a Nazi regime, it’s not hyperbole or metaphor. This is textbook Nazi shit. And if you follow this conflict and actually listen to and read the witness testimonies you will know that this happens all the time. There are countless interviews on video with people who witnessed or survived Ukrainian war crimes and atrocities, and so many of them tell of unarmed people being executed in basements or marched out in the field and shot or hunted with drones for sport, and that’s just the tip of the iceberg. If you’ve read about the Nazi war crimes in the USSR this is all grimly familiar.

    And the worst part is that you will never, ever hear about any of this in the Western media. They categorically refuse to interview survivors of Ukrainian crimes, and they sanction the journalists who do! When journalist Patrick Lancaster interviewed random people on the streets in Mariupol in 2022 and they all kept telling over and over about how the Azov forces were murdering civilians, sniping them (the “Israeli” MO we are now familiar with from Gaza), shelling their homes, using them as human shields, etc., to the Western media that was all “Russian propaganda”. When independent journalists go to interview local Donetsk residents about the terror shelling they experienced for a decade since 2014, that is all “Russian propaganda”.

    Don’t believe your lying eyes and ears, don’t believe when the Banderite Nazis proudly film themselves doing war crimes, when they brag about them afterwards (again just like the “Israelis”), don’t believe the dozens and hundreds of witnesses, don’t believe the independent journalists, anything that doesn’t fit with the approved narrative is a “Kremlin talking point”.
