I’ve been fairly shell-shocked lately. The US military has been murdering alleged drug runners in the Caribbean leading up to the invasion of Venezuela and kidnapping of its president and first lady. ICE is invading cities to violently harass, intimidate, kidnap, and murder. The Zionist entity continues apace in its genocidal crimes against the Palestinians.

It helps me to remember that the right is trying to hold together a coalition that

• has a white ethno-nationalist view of America First while trying to keep room for Hispanic, Indian and other EMPOC conservatives,
• includes LGBT reactionaries while promoting anti-trans and anti-gay laws,
• appeals to conservative women while stripping reproductive rights i.e. abortion and teases removing women’s right to vote,
• and backs the Zionist entity To. The. Hilt. while still capturing America Firsters and open Jew haters

Add to this the cultural backfiring of the failed attempt to make a martyr of Charlie Kirk and MAGA telling their financially struggling base that the economy is great actually, full Brandon style.

This is before we take into account the most recent events of ICE stormtroopers kidnapping people and murdering responders in the street – this is my personal speculation but I think that the 25-30% of people who really support this are low key shook by how strong and broad the pushback is and how deeply reviled they are. MAGA wanted this kind of overt display of fascist power and thought this shit would rock, now they realize just how close they are to fucking around and finding out.

The recent release of Epstein documents shows that the most influential figures in government, finance, intelligence, academia, entertainment, etc. are all tied together in power networks where child abuse and sex trafficking are par for the course. MAGA luminaries are heavily implicated, and liberals are seeing that Democrats are inextricably tied up in the web as well and that the Democratic party is doing jack and shit to save them.
