    I’m generally in favor of conservation, and I still am in this case, but while hiking in the Angeles, mountain lions were the only thing that really scared me. I remember a pair were hiking and one was grabbed by a mountain lion and her friend had to stab it in the eye with a pen to try to rescue her

      Respect nature, but an adult healthy human ought to be able to fight off a mountain lion.

      Not that you’d want to though.
