My tummy is mad at me today. It’s usually mad at me.
This post is for casual conversation if you don’t feel like making a post of your own.
I went skating on a lake with a friend. It’s nice and sunny today so there were a lot of people at the track. We stopped at one of the campfire spots by the forest for a coffee break. It feels special to get to use a gas burner and an aeropress. Even though it’s a lot of extra stuff to carry around, I really enjoy cooking (or just making coffee) in the nature, and prefer hauling all that gear with me even for a short trip like this rather than using a thermos.
Hey, I’m also having tummy issues, as is often the case.
For me it’s IBS, driven by anxiety and a bad diet. Just in case you don’t know what drives your bad tummy stuff, this was it for me.
I’ve made a lot of progress in identifying the foods that upset me and know that my anxiety triggers it getting worse, so I can work on both of those.
I am supposed to run a two hour d&d game in an hour, that’s part of the anxiety. But it’ll be fine.
depressed because my house is gross, but I’m too dumb to clean it. So…
Vomited today. Haven’t for a bit. There was nothing in my stomach but my brain was convinced it had to come out. Despite it was coming out, just the other end and slowly. Finally vomited up enough bile my brain calmed down and decided I had “gotten it out”.
Not sure what caused it. Not the every few months vomiting then not eating for a few days, this felt like sickness. Must have eaten something grody. Will still tell the gastroenterologist about it.
