Yeah I was thinking “what do you mean unprepared?” If you had Lunchables, that WAS being prepared!

Bologna and American cheese sandwich. I don’t think I saw my first lunchable until high school.

anyone can be bullied or just get hurt playing as a kid. as an adult, having money, phone, wallet, keys, maybe a backpack with anything you may need, you don’t really have any worries other than having to be prepared.

I used to bring jam and cheese sandwiches from home. You read that right, jam and cheese.

I’m 31…used to have lunchables a ton when I was in grade school, holy heck I grabbed one the other day and either the quality is much lower or I had some bad taste as a kid 😂

It is 100% both. I also still sometimes grab the pizza lunchables as a 32 year old man. Every single time I’m like “this is going to be an awesome snack” and then when I’m done the post-lunchable clarity kicks in and I’m sad and a little disgusted.

They were never good. Dry, stale crackers. Tiny, slimy meat circles. Salty cheese cubes that taste more like a chemistry experiment than cured cow’s milk. As kids our palates are motivated to salty fatty food with much less regard for flavor.

Now, if you want Lunchables for grown-ups, get yourself one of those cheese and cracker platters from a nicer grocery store. Pastrami, salami, pepper jack, gouda, and sesame or butter crackers. Delicious.

Prosciutto, salami, garlic coil, gruyere, Gouda, a nice aged cheddar and some Brie. Breton garden vegetable crackers. Now you’ve got a snack.

Both, but mostly the bad taste as a kid. They’re not that much worse now than they were before.

By the time lunchables showed up in the stores im our small town I was a Jr in high school and was driving over to burger king for $1 whoppers for lunch. Didnt have my first mobile phone until I was forced into getting one for work in 2005…
