A Boston University researcher who followed valedictorians and salutatorians into adulthood found that most did in fact achieve the traditional markers of success. Nearly everyone graduated from college, where their average GPA was 3.

Maybe because all billionaires under 30 have inherited their wealth

Smart people and people with a strong work ethic for things that don’t come naturally to them aren’t generally evil enough to steal from workers, con, or do generally evil things.

Of course LinkedIn slop misinterprets the data to basically say, “You, too, can become a billionaire even if you had mediocre grades!”

That hellscape of a platform is so full of self aggrandizement and accountability dodging.

Edit: Also, this guy has no concept of education and seemingly a feeble grasp of success markers. His articles seem extremely biased by his own upbringing and social mores.

As a selfmade billionaire I can tell you it’s all about your grind mind. I started my company in the kitchen and continued in the garage. When my mom initially said I can’t have 10 million in starting capital I asked her again and she said ok. Grind mind. Then she told me not to take the lambo but guess what? I took it anyway. Grind mind.

A place to discuss positive changes that can make work more equitable, and to vent about current practices. We are NOT against work; we just want the fruits of our labor to be recognized better.

Our Philosophies:

  • All workers must be paid a living wage for their labor.
  • Income inequality is the main cause of lower living standards.
  • Workers must join together and fight back for what is rightfully theirs.
  • We must not be divided and conquered. Workers gain the most when they focus on unifying issues.

Our Goals

  • Higher wages for underpaid workers.
  • Better worker representation, including but not limited to unions.
  • Better and fewer working hours.
  • Stimulating a massive wave of worker organizing in the United States and beyond.
  • Organizing and supporting political causes and campaigns that put workers first.
