The CIA is working to arm Kurdish forces with the aim of fomenting a popular uprising in Iran and the Trump administration has been in active discussions with Iranian opposition groups and Kurdish leaders in Iraq about providing them with military support, multiple people familiar with the talks told CNN.

    Perfect! It’s not like the CIA is a terrorist org that has caused tens of millions of deaths doing this over the last century.

    Why didn’t they do this with the protesters before the IRGC had a chance to murder tens of thousands?

    I hope they remain prepared for an eventuality where the US also suddenly pulls out and leaves them on their own. I know they’re different Kurdish forces, but hopefully they’re aware of the history there.
