    She was just a good prosecutor doing her job. Data wasn’t turned into a science experiment, so she did nothing wrong…

    We even saw him torture someone - and though he felt guilt - he was still torturing someone to reunite with his psychopathic father…

    But yeah, whereas he was a fleshed out character, she was a momentary antagonist. The point of these characters is to show that no one ia wholely good - or wholely evil, and that’s why I love Star Trek.

    Also, we were robbed of the shipping between Bashir and Garek, which I will never forgive Paramount for.

    the reason why people accept a lot of heinous shit from Garak and not Polanski is that we expect more from Polanski, and less from the ex-spy from the place the enemies come from. Polanski should know better (don’t know, never watched her season on TNG properly, just the “Picard needs a new heart” ep)
