      I think you mean the worst designed ship in the fleet.

      Reasons for sheer fuckheaded stupid design

      1. Weapons are mounted fore. Ammo storage is aft. The schematics show a goddamn railcart system to move the ammo. Sure. Why not.

      2. It is an anti-borg vessel that was designed with seemingly zero anti-borg anything in it. Uses primarily energy weapons which they can adapt to (and this is after finding out that kinetic weaponry is better). Uses primarily shields for defensive despite armor being shown to be more useful by this point. Sure why not. Is also proven to be effectively worthless against the Borg in First Contact.

      3. That giant nose that is in need of a rhinoplasty is a nuclear warhead. Not even a joke. It’s a giant fucking bomb. So they’re sailing around with a giant bomb strapped to the front which completely obliterates the logic of “put ammo in rear” when YOU HAVE A BOMB ON YOUR FACE OZOB.

      4. Not only is it a giant fucking bomb, it is also a lifepod. Because that’s what you want to be sitting inside of. A. Bomb.

      5. Not only is it a bomb, it also houses the sensor arrays. So if they ever did fire off the bomb, the ship becomes instantly blind. Can’t go to warp, can’t go to impulse, gotta fire manually by looking out of the fucking window, like… what FUCKING MORON DESIGNED THIS GODDAMN THING

      6. It’s captained by a sociopath who hauls it out of mothballs to sneakily go to the Founder’s homeworld, in Starfleets only warship, to say “Hey we are here peacefully and want to talk.”

        Didnt they state that the only reason they gave the defiant to DS9 is because it was so poorly designed it couldnt be in real service?

          It’s a piece of shit ship and straight up does not have a rail gun so I have no clue where you’re coming up with that. The Defiant class US Military ship is supposed to have a railgun but not the Star Trek ship.
