I think if these were rated by how often they are used rather than how much people like them, we would have very different results. For example: Honey. Almost everybody likes it, but most people don’t use it very often. At least not like ketchup or mustard.
The values should be weighted. Maybe something like +2 (or maybe +4?) to -1, neutrality being zero, of course. That would put hot sauce at the bottom.
27% dislike/hate hot sauce?? There has to be a level where it imparts a pleasant heat without burning, you don’t even like that?
Although I am entertained by the show Hot Ones, I don’t fuck with anything over 3,000 Scovilles. Mostly because of the heat coming out. Years ago, when Sriracha was all the rage, I tried it and thought it sucked. Texas Pete’s had a much more nuanced flavor IMO.
