Schlock Mercenary is one of the classics, and if you haven’t read it yet I highly recommend checking it out!
I wouldn’t necessarily describe all the characters as rational XD …but the science-y ones typically are. Also it explores a lot of neat ideas that I still find myself thinking about regularly. If you like sci fi, I think you’ll enjoy this one.

One of the first web comics I got into, funny and creative and occasionally extremely dramatic.
I also still think about them from time to time. Some of the storylines really hit me.
They were worrying about AI before Bezos and Musk were rich.
