extra, “Barbarian” was a roman term to make fun of people by the way of their language. Pardon my example, but that’s the same as calling Asia “Chingchong”. it was racist as fuck back in the Roman times, but because we forgot that meaning, so we still use it. and somehow the modern meaning of “Uncivilized violent dirty people’s” is even more racist than the Roman usage.

I am saying that cops are bastards, no matter where. It doesn’t matter if they arrest you for not wearing a hijab, or for looking like a Mexican.
Every country has their share of police brutality, it just gets worse in autocratic governments. But demonizing Iranians as barbarians will not contribute to the solution of the problem, and only feed the racism towards people of middle eastern heritage.
How bout a place where you can get beat up or killed for wearing a facemask?
