I like how the mech is darker than other things around. Makes it stand out.
I like a strong subject, but also, I left its surroundings more faint to deliberately deemphasize them. I decided it should be clear at first glance that they don’t matter to the revelers.
Mostly just a fun doodle though, for now. I would like to take another stab at this composition in ink, someday.
Hmm. Some warping on the left side of the page. It’s not actually that skinny, just took a bad photo.
