I want to make some cash transfers to some of the poorest people. The main gang doing this seems to be givedirectly.org , a USAn charity
I might just use them, as that barely hardly counts as using a USAn product. (Not sure if they pay tax to the USA/Israel? Maybe they are exempt?)
But if there’s an alternative outside that would be slightly preferable.

- Concern Worldwide - Irish
- People in Need - Czech
- Effektiv Spenden - German
- Giv Effektivt - Danish
- Gi Effektivt - Norway
- Ayuda Efectiva - Spain
- Doneer Effectief - Dutch
Some of these are good.
I don’t trust Concern.
I’ve not looked into them too much, what’s concerning about them for you?
I see them in African cities with their nice air conditioned cars, living in basically in mansions partying with Digicel guys, having multiple local staff (cooks, drivers, etc). I don’t want my money to go to making a 24-year-old sociology graduate from Foxrock comfortable. And they are not held accountable for that, because they can give a glossy impact statement every year to their donors.
