    I have a feeling the base desktop experience will always remain behind. Samsung has a huge head start and Google will probably get bored of it before it has a chance to ever catch up.

      With Android and ChromeOS “merging” (for lack of a better term), it should continue to improve assuming Google doesn’t kill the Chromebook market.
