I think that’s a bit of a harsh review of the article. Like, yeah, it does view the breakup of the UK as a bad thing, but that’s okay to hold as a position. It’s respectful of the real grievances that the non-England constituent countries have and rightly calls out the threat of Farage’s English nationalism

I do want to see an independent Scotland, but I’m not about to pick fights with folk who can feel the opposite way and be normal about it
