I honestly thought it was a surface plate
When I was living in China a few years back we had what’s considered a great matress and it literally was a plank of wood with springs underneath. There was a futon sort of thing on top but that was it. I got so used to it now I can’t sleep on soft shit anymore. Fucking loved it.
I would definitely give this a try.
Same when I visited china, except I don’t think there were any springs. It was just a solid wooden platform with a thin mattress on top.
People really underestimate how good for your back a firm bed can be.
I think the idea is to put a pad down. The stone mattress has a heating element built in to keep you warm.
