I expect Iraq to get priority on Gulf shipping. Commit to CNY only payment. Already NATO troops in Iraq have announced full withdrawal. US has an evacuation order. I’d expect Iraq to focus on taking over US airbases on their territory.

Iraq, like Afghanistan before, and Venezuela today, has its mostly oil funded treasury held in US bank accounts. Afghanistan’s was confiscated. More direct support of Iran may get it on the reparations list for getting their “frozen assets” paid back to them.
