Is this supposed to be a joke about Telus’ customer service or such, or is she genuinely having issues? I’m just confused by that part.
Otherwise, love Emily Lowan, and feel she made a great move by congratulating Avi in this way. Feels like it’s genuine rather than something purely done out of PR and “respectability”.
At 6:04 in his acceptance speech, Avi has mentioned the 3 Telecom companies price gouging and adds that in addition, they do this while providing the WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE ON EARTH. He actually drops his voice “an octave” to deliver that line and it gets a chuckle. I think she is playing into that. 😉
