oh course, Canadians are fucking hick idiots. We killed the carbon tax bEcAuSe It cOsT uS mONeY, then ran out and bought SUVs and pickups because EV incentives were also killed.

Now I see the tears swelling up in brahs eyes as the pumps roll over $250, and that tank won’t last long. But where is the Troodow to Fuck!?? Sorry, he’s gone and fucking Katy Perry.

    Pay up, bitches.

Yup, it sucks that my fellow countrymen don’t see the benefits of EVs. Sometimes trying to convince them of it is like trying to pull a rotten tusk out of a grumpy walrus.

As for myself, I currently have a mid-sized sedan, but the next vehicle purchase will be PHEV or full EV, depending on when it needs to be made. As it is, I’m going to get a bike for my work commute in the warmer months. At least I can mitigate some of the damage about six months of the year.

The only positive I can see to this article is that despite the massive decrease overall in BEV purchasing, after 2025Q2, the sales amounts started going back up again.

I expect that the rates will further increase, regardless of policy incentives, thanks to Agent Orangutan blowing up the world.
