Omar El Hilali also spoke about the chants of “whoever does not jump is a Muslim’” that were heard at RCDE Stadium during the match between Spain and Egypt.

“Of course it hurts me… It’s in poor taste for them to shout that, just as it is for them to shout it about any religion,” he said.

The Espanyol defender emphasized that “until tough action is taken, it’s not going to change.”
