I applied to two distinct ai-generated description roles at two separate companies. They viewed my application within seconds and two distinct individuals at separate companies not affiliated with the one that posted the job pasted the exact same message instantly wanting me to provide my email.

This makes me think they’re running some sort of bot farm which controls this process for phishing purposes. I reported them both and one has seemingly been banned. Anyone else encounter this?

Overall my experience with LinkedIn has been lackluster. I have yet to get a single interview off this platform

These are my impressions:

- Godawful job recommendations that aren’t relevant to you at all

- Scam jobs peppered throughout

- Thousands of data annotation and ai-trainer gig roles cluttering the feed

- Poor filters and no ability to blacklist companies

- Every job gets thousands of applicants

- Jobs that have been up for over a year.

- Ghost jobs which are application voids

Don’t even get me started on the people and posts. I refuse to believe these people are real.
