What do I do??? I don’t know how this happened, when I was choosing food for them I spent HOURS upon HOURS trying to find the best wet food, comparing ingredients, etc 😭😭😭😭 but somehow the wet food I’ve been feeding them since NOVEMBER is for ADULTS???

They were both about 6 months old in November 😭 they get dry kibble (for kittens, this I know for sure) and wet food for both of their meals morning and evening, and the kibble they are free to munch on throughout the day. The wet food I’ve been feeding them is Tiny Tiger Grain-Free Chunks in EXTRA Gravy Seafood Recipe canned cat food… I used to give them the chicken flavor as well, but that was giving them terrible smelling poops so I stopped and just stuck with seafood. On occasion I would give them Reveal kitten wet canned food in between waiting for the shipments of Tiny Tiger to arrive.

So basically, in the morning they would get kibble and a can each of the wet food, and then same at night. When they stopped eating so much, I gave them kibble and half a can each of wet food in the morning and then same at night.

I’ve had my one kitty since he was about 5 or 6 weeks old, and my other I got when she was about 9 weeks old…. Between these ages and the 6 month mark when I switched to Tiny Tiger, I know for a fact they were getting kitten specific wet food.

I’m freaking out 😭 did I hinder the growth of my sweet kitties??? Did I mess up their development??? What do I do 😭😭😭 they are both turning 1 between this month and next month, do I go buy wet kitten food and switch them to that for a little bit to try and make up for the different nutrients they missed out on??? Is that even how it works??? I don’t know how I let this happen are my kitties going to be alright??

EDIT to ask- is the kitten specific kibble they’ve been eating every day enough to supplement the missed nutrients of the wet kitten food???
