I just bought a cat. Her name is Nesta she is 1 today. Spent her entire life in the shelter and at a foster home. She is understandably terrified. I knew going into this that it will be a long road with her. And I am prepared to take things slow.

What I purchased:

-Steel liter box, Liter, scooper

-2 beds. 1 open and 1 with a cover so she can hide

-Cat Carrier

-Collar

-2 scratching posts. 1 long one so she can stretch and scratch and 1 on the floor with a ball in the center)

- 2 flat ceramic dishes. 1 for dry food and 1 for wet.

-Stainless steel cat fountain

-Cat self heating pad

-wet and dry food

-toys

I did not get a cat tree. Should I? And any tips with dealing with a stressed out cat and how to make her comfortable?
