I adopted this sweetheart on Tuesday, knowing that one of her eyes did not form correctly from birth. But I just noticed that the other eye has this strange shape in the reflective part of her eye. It’s only visible in the reflective part, and her pupil can constrict to smaller than that shape (I stuck a flashlight in her face lol). There’s no surface texture difference and she seems to see very well (with some minor depth perception issues from only having one eye).

She’s gotten very comfortable at home already, eats, drinks, and goes to the bathroom very well. Super playful and cuddly.

She has a general vet exam on Monday but I’m curious if anyone has seen something similar, and/or if I should get a second opinion if the vet doesn’t seem concerned. Thanks!
