I am at my wits end with this cat.

I have 3. The one causing the issue is my 2 year old boy, he’s a neutered black cat.

Every night without fail, he makes an absolute ruckus anywhere between 3am and 5am for food. He starts by scratching the carpet outside the room his food is kept in, then he will start chasing his sisters around (which they hate). When he does this, he purposely chases them into our bedroom so they will run over our heads in an attempt to get us up.

I am beginning to lose sleep over it. I’m the one that ends up having to get up with him. My days off from work are beginning to be affected because I just end up sleeping and doing nothing cause I’m so tired from the lack of sleep.

Our routine used to be that they would be fed some biscuits at 5am. At 8.30am they would get a pouch of wet food each. I get home from work at 5pm where they get another wet food pouch. They get more biscuits prior to bed anywhere between 10-11pm. They aren’t being starved, heck, I’d even say they’re over-fed cause the girls are starting to get a belly on them.

They have a cat tree, they have toys, they have mental stimulation but my boy continues to be a problem. His sisters have never been a problem, they don’t beg for food, they know their routine and are happy with it.

Does anyone have any suggestions? I’m at the point where I am considering possibly having to re-home him because he is disrupting the other two so bad. I am finding it so hard to implement boundaries with him because when he doesn’t get what he wants, he is relentless. He is a sweet, docile little boy who is never aggressive in any way.
