Hi all. I had a great first interview with a company, and the hiring manager even added me on Linkedin after. They wanted some specific video samples, and I totally had tunnel vision and created videos that may have been far from what they were after. I sent them, and got rejected. I sent a thank you email.

I reflected and realised where I went wrong and I want to create the proper content this time (I am also embarrassed of the ones I originally sent…), maybe send one example through, acknowledge my initial wrong approach, and perhaps add a note about hopefully keeping the line open for future opportunities.

Is this a dumb move after l’ve already been rejected? Or is it too desperate? The company is a startup company that is rapidly growing. I really wanted to work with them though…
