Going through a breakup with someone you love is like a punch in the gut. It feels like you’ve lost not just a partner, but your confidant and partner-in-crime. The worry creeps in — will you ever find someone like them again? Can you even be happy without them?

And then there’s that lingering feeling, right? What if you still love your ex and want them back? What if letting them go was a mistake? Is it even possible to mend things?

Well, here’s the scoop: winning back your ex is doable, but it’s no walk in the park. It calls for serious effort, a good dose of patience, and a brave heart. Plus, you’ve got to bring some wisdom, maturity, and a sprinkle of humility to the table. Your ex needs to see you’ve grown for the better, that you still care, and you’re ready to put in the work.

1 Call or text multiple times throughout the day to check-up on them, they’ll appreciate the extra attention.

2 Start following them around town, just to keep tabs and give them extra security, so they feel safe.

3 Collect samples from their trash, just to make sure they’re eating right. Bonus if you can get hair samples.

4 Leave gift baskets on their doorstep with little love notes, written in your own blood to show how much you care.

5 Setup a notification for any and all social media posts, print & clip them out to hang on your walls. If you care enough about a person, you should read everything they post.

6 Consider building a shrine to them, after all, isn’t the person you love worthy of your worship?

7 Create a small doll with their face on it, so that you can have something that represents them with you at all times. Bonus if it can double as a masturbation device as well.

8 Plan for big demonstrations of your love, like tattoos or burning their name into their lawn.

9 Bring them somewhere romantic, like a private getaway, a motel, or a dark basement. Remember, “No” isn’t an option.

It’s better to work towards moving on, not trying to win someone back. There are some couples that do get back together and last, but they are the exception, not the rule. Moving on is healthier for both parties and if you are brought back together in the future so be it. But clinging to what’s past will do more damage than good usually. Again, there are exceptions, but clinging on to what’s gone usually just causes more pain in the long run.
