We rescued a young female cat in hopes of her befriending our very friendly and playful young cat Crab. We let new cat (Mister Business) get established in our room for about a week before we put a tall baby gate up in the door so they could see eachother. They sniffed and interacted all night. Crab would meow and MB would come to her and see what was up. I fed them together next to the door and that went well also. Crab was reaching in to touch MB, and MB didnt mind. MB came to us pretty afraid and not trusting of humans so I think Crab will be good for her too. MB LOVES her toys and plays with them all night while we lay in bed so I think shes warming up and happy.

My question is based on their interactions, how long dhould we go with the partition before letting MB come out to explore? thanks everyone!
