My boy is almost a year and a half. He got neutered at 6mo old. Before the neuter he was never really startled or on edge. After his neuter I noticed he seems to be on edge ALOT. Don’t get me wrong, 50% of the time he’s a confident boy and bullies his sisters and doesn’t seem spooked of us clapping our hands at him to get down from the counter or things like that. The other 50% he’s always having moments where he’s slowly walking low and on edge and super jumpy during this time. Every night when I shower he’s like that in the bathroom he willingly creeps into and freaks out at any unexpected sound. For example today, I guess he saw my older cat walking through the living room and just randomly completely freaked out and launched himself into the glass door (that’s always been there btw) and hit his head hard and then was frozen in fear after that. For about 20 minutes after he was all wide eyed and scared and cowering. He wouldn’t eat dinner for a while and was super scared of the living room trying to peak into the living room all spooked out. He’s NOT scared of my 2 other girls at all. Sometimes he just randomly freaks out about random things like that. I like to say the boogie man is after him because that’s what he acts like all the time. Do they grow out of this? Should I consider 💊 him? I just don’t want to start him on 💊 so young and it cause health issues later in life. PS: He’s been to vet check ups and has passed his exams with flying colors. I’ve never mentioned his on edge behaviors to the vets because it is not a constant thing but after tonight’s launching himself into a door and hurting himself I’m considering bringing it up. Just curious if anyone has this experience
