My cat is 2 years old and for her whole life she has been throwing up her food occasionally. im not really sure how to help her and figured maybe someone would have ideas for me. shes dewormed and fully up to date on vaccines so its not anything like that. Ive taken her to the vet several times and they check her and say everything’s fine with her and recommend things i have been trying to do for the last 2 years such as changing brands of food, new flavors, grain free, limited diet, slow feeder, smaller portions, nothing has been working. I have her on a wet food diet because it seems to be working well but she just threw up the wet food for the first time so I don’t think its a long term solution. I also got in contact with my cousin which has my cats sister and found out the same thing happens with her. Could it just be a bad genetic thing?? if so I still would like to find something that helps her. I feel so bad for her and i just want to be able to help her as much as i can. Its not every time she eats its just maybe like once a week so its not like shes malnourished and losing a lot of nutrients but i still just would rather her not throw up her food. any and all advice is appreciated thank you!!
