I’ve had my adorable little furball for almost 3 months now, and things are going well. She has adjusted well to her litter robot, and automatic feeder. But she doesn’t like to eat on her own. She will only eat all of her food if I sit on the floor with her and pet her and cuddle while she eats.

She is an only cat (for now), no health issues (recent vet visit), indoor only. She gets dry food 3 times a day from the auto feeder, and wet food once a day when I get home from work. But her 8am food is only about half eaten when I get home around 1pm from work and she will only finish it if I sit next to her while she eats and pet/cuddle.

So far this hasn’t been an issue, but I’m going to have to go on a work trip soon and be gone for 3 days/2 nights, and I’m nervous.

She also is a massive scaredy cat, and hides immediately if another person is in the apartment, or if there are any loud noises outside (lawn service, car alarm, thunder, etc)
