This is Cairo. She’s 1 and she’s absolutely insane. I love her. Like some cats she goes crazy for hair ties, I believe she loves the scent, but the weird thing is she seeks them out like a heat detecting missile??

For example I could covertly go to sleep with some under my pillow - cue me waking up to a little paw and chin digging under there? If I or my bf have any in our pockets while sat down watching TV, the next thing we know she’s running away with a little hair tie in her mouth!! Thief!!

But what’s really baffled me was her scratching at a cupboard underneath the TV stand for the last week - all there was in there to my knowledge was some computer packaging. This morning she managed to open the cupboard door (which is magnetic so I don’t know how she was that strong??) to retrieve a HAIR TIE in there? Me and my bf are absolutely beside ourselves lol.

We are extra vigilant since an incident where she vomited up a snapped hair tie (even prior to this incident we confiscated them from her) but it’s funny to see her triumphant for a few seconds before her gold goes back in a safe place.
