We have a 6 yo high anxiety, sensitive, Velcro cat. We just brought home our first baby who also has colic, so he screams and cries A LOT. Our cat is, rightfully so, stressed out by this new change and is over grooming. This is also causing her to throw up hairballs almost every day. I’ve called her vet to get her Prozac rx refilled (this worked in the past when we got our second cat) and have her on hairball supplements. We’re trying to give her as much attention and love as possible it’s just obviously not as much as when she was the only baby. Any other suggestions to help her adjust while we all get used to this new little human who is running our lives? Lol
