Found a stray cat behind our home in southwestern Pennsylvania. He is very friendly, ran up to me once I got out of the car from work. I took him to a vet who let me in after hours and said he didn’t have a microchip. He is not neutered but even the vet agrees he acts very domesticated. He is purring, very good with humans, ate a bowl of food, and slept in the car ride to the vet. My family already has three indoor cats and we are all allergic so we don’t know how to take care of him tonight. He is very skinny, has a blister on his lip, and seems to have a slight issue with his one back leg. Any help or advice on what to do tonight would be appreciated. I work tomorrow 7:30-5:30 so unfortunately I can’t keep him with me and drive to a shelter or anything. I already posted in local fb groups and on TikTok.
