I’ve been reading this sub for about 3 months now and it seems there is no real logic as to how people get rejected or hired. For the people who got hired, congrats to you but it also seems like you were right person, right place, and at the right time. I’m not doubting the applicant’s skills and experience but it just seems that way.
I see posts of candidates going through 5+ rounds only to be rejected. You would figure someone going that far would get the job but 1 person said no and you never hear the real reason as to why. Could it be a last minute applicant shows who just happens to be someone’s son/daughter/cousin/friend/roommate/etc.? Ghost jobs?
