Hello first time posting here

Today I bring my cat to the vet because she had a suture sticking out from her incision (got neutered 2 weeks ago) they wanted to check it. Now I would like to say my cat is adorable little happy bun at home but at the vet she is angry, she always sleeps with me she hugs me she always follows me at home but multipl vets I visited usually dont think she is a cuddly cat idk why my cat cant be the only cat who is angry at the vet. She hates men and she hates vets unfortunately my vet is both.

I bring her in they cut the suture out everything is fine and they put her in her box and while the vet gets the door part of the box she escapes the examination room the door is apparently open. I follow her, no need to panic I think, but oh no the main door of the veterinary is wide open which is right on a big district and there are tons of cars going full speed and my cat runs from the door. At that moment I was like “oh shit” and throw my bag ran at full speed like I was running for a cod blue at my hospital shift. Luckily she didn’t go for the street but instead to the garden of the building and we were able to catch her.

I don’t know what could have happened. What If she ran to the cars? What If she ran so fast I couldn’t find her? She is white and tabby and in my country there are tons of tabby cats on the street nobody would have thought she might be a home cat and looked for her owner.

Should I change my vet? Is this a big thing or am I blowing this out of proportion? It kinda bothers me that I was running full speed and they were like ‘meh’ I mean they apologized but idk what to do
